Avengers Paul Rudd is all of us as he interrogated Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo about who lives and dies in Endgame in a hilarious video.

So close, yet so far.

The Ant-Man star set up his camera as he plotted to secretly film a chat with the directing duo.

Im so sick of these secrets, Im going to try and find out what the story is, he whispered to the camera.

With the brothers asking Paul what he wants for lunch during the press tour, the 50-year-old didnt mince his words as he demanded: Ill tell you what I want, I wanna know whether I live or die in Endgame.

While Joe changed the subject back to the lunch menu, the actor was determined in his mission to discover the secrets, asking: In general, who lives, who dies in the movie?

Youve got a script, Joe assured him, before throwing shade at the spoiler king Mark Ruffalo, who managed to reveal the ending to Infinity War 10 months before its release, and live stream the first 10 minutes of Thor Ragnarok from his pocket. As you do.

The only one who gets a fake script is Ruffalo, Joe pointed out.

Paul said: I know, everyone knows Ruffalo gets a fake script. Hes always ruining things. But I dont know. I never got an ending.

With Anthony seemingly about to list the all-important deaths to the star, eagle-eyed Joe spotted Pauls camera filming. What are the chances?!

Whatever to do? Blame it on Mark, of course: Ruffalo must have left his phone again.

RUUUUUDDDDD!!! the brothers captioned the video, posting it to Twitter.

It must be a difficult time for Paul, considering he discovered the ending to Infinity War years before his co-stars – despite not even starring in the movie.

While many of the stars were left in the dark about Thanos wiping out half the population with a snap of his fingers, Paul claims he just had to know in order to film Ant-Man. How convenient.

The 50-year-old explained: I knew about it early on because when we were writing Ant-Man, I had to know about these things.
