BTS reveal true meaning behind hit song Fake Love is 'kind of deep'

The seven-member boyband are known for their mesmerising dance routines and instantly addictive beats.

The K-Pop superstars won the Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards, where they performed their single Fake Love from the bands album Love Yourself.

Instantly a classic, fans have been gushing over the song since its release.

The lyrics are pretty deep, and in a new video interview with Beats 1, band member RM finally shared the songs meaning.

RM said: Basically, our albums are like four-part series; [the series] is about love. So [Love Yourself: Tear] is part three and its like a turning point.

Were saying that if youre not true to yourself, your love wont last forever. The love could be person to person, it could be between me and myself.

In the interview, the band members also talked trivia: some of the things they need in the studio when recording are coffee, Red Bull and Yankee Candles.
