The 2016 presidential election set records for voter registration and turnout in California, while Tuesdays primary election had one of the lowest turnouts.

The final turnout figures will not be certified for several weeks and could rise a few percentage points statewide, or as many as 10 points in populous Southern California counties with heated congressional races. You can see updated totals at the California Secretary of States portal.
