The time is getting nearer and nearer for Captain Marvel to hit the big screen as the movie has just finished filming.
Thats right Marvel fans, the first movie based on the comic book hero has wrapped up filming and we can barely hold on to our composure.
Co-director Ryan Fleck confirmed the news with a social media post.
In a picture shared on Instagram, the director showed off a shooting schedule where the page states day 75 of 75.
Its fair to say that it means the cast and crew have finished filming.
He then wrote on the caption: We got next…
This comes after Marvel confirmed that for the first time in 10 years, a woman is about to take the lead of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The studio shared a video package of CineEurope which revealed that Brie Larsons Captain Marvel will be the new face and leader of the franchise.

Captain Marvel is about to take the lead in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, the video highlighted.
The video mostly consisted of behind the scenes footage of Brie in character, and is meant to introduce people to Carol Danvers.
The footage is being kept under wraps, but Nikita Byrkin of The Flick shared the logo on social media.

However, not everyone is happy about this news.
Namely, the white male snowflakes who are clearly afraid of watching a badass woman lead a film franchise.
Hearing Captain Marvel would be the leader of Avengers 4 and the new face of the MCU confirms to me that SJW Marvel is coming to the MCU.

Little is known about the film; the history of Captain Marvel – or Ms Marvel as she is often known – is a long one going back six decades and various incarnations.
The long-awaited movie version, however, will attempt to kick things off with an origin story revealing how Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel thanks to an explosion, which infused her DNA with that of Kree-superhero Mar-Vell, confusingly also known Captain Marvel.

Jude Law will star as Mar-Vell, but the casting of Lashana Lynch left fans wondering if she could also be playing a third Marvel.

Perhaps Monica Rambeau? Rambeau was a police lieutenant from New Orleans who possesses the power to transform herself into any form of energy. She later becomes a member of the Avengers, and at one point served as their leader.
Its not a stretch to imagine that Marvel may throw three Captain Marvels into one film especially with their propensity for adding in as many comic characters into their films as possible – and an origin story always need an ending.
Captain Marvel will arrive in UK cinemas on 8 March 2019.
