Cardi B seems to have well and truly returned serve in the apparently reignited feud between the rapper and fellow artist Nicki Minaj.
Just when you thought there had been a truce agreed, the two women seemed to have heated things back up in the kitchen.
It all started when Nicki used two women – sisters Baddie Gi and Jade – who have accused Cardi of assaulting her in a nightclub brawl, in her latest video Good Form.
Now Cardi has been seen on set sporting an identical rhinestone bikini Nicki wore for her video You Da Baddest with Future (who has reportedly been banned from working with Cardi. But thats a story for another time).
Hey, perhaps she just likes the same rhinestone bikini, who knows? Maybe its an homage to Minaj and weve got the tone all wrong? Advertisement Advertisement
However, judging by how intense their previous fracas was, which got physical during New York Fashion Week earlier this year, were also wondering if there still is actual beef simmering.
The I Like It hitmaker was filming in Miami on Tuesday when she donned the look, which also came with a similarly bejewelled skirt for some added pizazz.
Cardi also emulated Nickis barnet as she donned a straight, black, sleek wig. She didnt choose to wear the matching glasses, though, that we can see.
In the shots she is seen flanked by her own backing dancers wearing similar outfits, as they got to work on what we assume is the Money video, after the rapper teased the clip to her followers.
Its a multi-day shoot by the look of things, too, as she was seen filming while painted in some elaborate all-body tiger stripes for the shoot by the ocean earlier this week – the day she was meant to be fronting up to court on criminal charges for her alleged involvement in the strip-club fight back in August.
Back in October, Cardi – real name Belcalis Almanzar – turned herself into police and was charged with assault and reckless endangerment after being accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in New York.
However, the artist failed to show up and has been issued a warning by a judge, according to TMZ. The publication reports that Cardis legal team was in court Monday without the rapper.

The prosecutors reportedly expressed their frustration that Cardi did not make an appearance after the case was given a six-week extension on the case. The team are said to have asked the judge to issue a bench warrant.
The judge denied the immediate request but did issue a serious warning stating that Cardi must appear in court on Friday morning.
