Catherine Tyldesley left Coronation Street over a year ago, but she admits she still gets pangs for the soap and her character Eva Price.

Some of Evas major storylines included finding out she is related to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), and her romances with Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) and later Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).

The 35-year-old misses her time on the cobbles and would love to go back, but for now shes enjoying having more time freed up to spend with her son, Alfie.

Asked by The Sun if she would ever go back to Corrie, the actress said: Id love to at some point. I do get a little pang now and again.

But it was the right thing to do for my family. Im often able to do the school run now, which is lovely because of the age Alfie is.

Her dance partner is yet to officially be revealed but whoever it is, her husband Tom has absolutely no worries about the so-called Strictly curse.

The curse comes from the amount of relationships made (or broken) by celeb contestants who have appeared on the hit BBC series.

Catherine laughed off the idea that her marriage could be the latest to fall victim, saying: Obviously theres a history of things happening, but Tom is really chilled out about it to the point where Im like: “Are you even bothered?”
