Charles Barkley apologized for saying he wanted to punch Draymond Green, and he really shouldnt have.
“I apologize to Draymond Green and his mom…What I said was inappropriate. I would never punch an NBA player. I meant what I said, but I would never punch an NBA player. Draymond Green is a good player. I think hes a nice kid. I wish him nothing but the best. But what I said was inappropriate,” Barkley said Wednesday night on TNT.

This is shameful. Is this where were at now in society? Barkley was clearly joking when he said he wanted to punch Barkley. Just take a look at the video below.

I didnt necessarily like the comments when Barkley made them, but he shouldnt have apologized. If anything, he should have doubled down and just said it was a joke. Dont retreat when you get attacked. Push back and make people feel like idiots for asking for an apology over a joke.
Did anybody actually believe Charles Barkley was going to attack Draymond Green? Absolutely not. Nobody with a brain believed that. The wussification of our society is embarrassing. I wasnt even on Barkleys side, but I sure am now.
Take my free advice. Never apologize for making jokes or light-hearted comments. Its not worth it.
