The premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was a star-studded affair.
Lily James and Amanda Seyfried walked down the red carpet along with Cher at Londons Hammersmith Apollo.
The long-awaited prequel comes ten years after the original smashed box office numbers and gained a permanent position in peoples hearts.
James wore a stunning strapless floor-length gown and deep, ivory satin shoes. She seemed to be enjoying herself as she posed for photographs, with her boyfriend Matt Smith studiously waiting for her in the background.
She plays Donna, the lead character whose journey viewers follow in a series of flashbacks.
Amanda Seyfried, who is reprising her role as Sophie in the feature film, wore a form-fitting black jumpsuit with pretty flower detail. Cher, too stunned in a floor-length black gown and her signature black curls.
Colin Firth is also reprising his role in the new movie, which serves as a prequel to the 2008 hit, and, speaking at the premiere, he said: I love it. Some of the others have been…Weve been exchanging messages about feeling a bit emotional.

Theres been a bit of a nostalgia, you know. So it has a strong feeling of family reunion about it.
Firth told The Hollywood News: When youre trying to generate fun, youve got to have fun. But its not that easy to achieve in reality, because filming is not a spontaneous process. You repeat a lot, you wait a lot – its a proper days work.
I think the secret has been the affection everybody has for one another and the enthusiasm. You know, when you have about 100 people … its quite hard to get a crowd of so enthusiastic people.
Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again is out in the UK on 20 July.
