Cheryl appeared to be back in the game after her performance at Sundays CapitalFM Jingle Bell Ball was heralded as a return to peak for the singer.
Just ask the fans.
Cheryl-stanners went wild for the former Girls Aloud singer as she took to the stage at Londons O2 alongside the likes of Little Mix and Jason Derulo.
And, by the looks of social media, they came with a response that was in stark contrast to the harsh backlash she received after her return to the stage on X Factor last month.
The 35-year-old took to the arena prepped and ready to rock and or roll, dressed in a rather brilliant red, sequinned bodysuit as she put the miles into an energetic performance that included her latest song Love Made Me Do It.

The singer was looking jazzy AF as she danced around with her backing performers, in a pair of thigh-high red boots that really werent made for jumping around a stage (guess thats why shes the popstar and we arent…)

While she stunned punters last month as her return to the stage fell a little flat with many fans, last night appeared to be something else.
Fans took to social media to rave about the singer, who has evidently been keeping some aces in her back pocket to light up her comeback, after her previous performance received nearly 100 complaints to Ofcom.
One shared a clip of the singer performing as they wrote: @CherylOfficial SMASHED it tonight !! I was front row living my best life tbh.
Another wrote: Wow @CherylOfficial killing her #jinglebellball performance.
For those who werent picking up her previous performance, you can probably take a seat now.

Feeling confident in her whole vibe, the mother-of-one took to the press room with a winning grin, dressed as a dainty snow angel in a white, feathered frock, as she was joined at the event by some other stellar performances.

Her ex and babydaddy Liam Payne performed on the Saturday of the festival, so no sneaky backstage run-ins, if thats what youre after, as they shared the bill with Years And Years, Zara Larsson and David Guetta.
