Fans havent quite seen the last of Eva on Coronation Street. Actress Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva, will finally bow out with scenes at Aidans inquest.
Eva had slipped away with baby Susie and went to France to stay with her mother. She reunited with Adam Barlow, just before she left. Adam decided to leave behind his whole life for Eva and committed to moving to France and raising Susie.
The Connors are relived when Eva turns up at the inquest at the last moment. The family had expected Eva to only submit written evidence.
The inquest is emotive for all concerned, with Johnny first giving evidence, followed by Eva. But what will emerge at the inquest? And will Johnny insist that Aidan was not in his right mind in an effort to reclaim the factory?

At the end of the inquest Eva says an emotional goodbye to Kate, with the two women united in their love for Aidan. Johnny finally gets a chance to apologise for snatching Susie. And Toyah begs Eva to stay.
Eva replies by saying that its the best thing for everyone if she leaves, with Susie. But there may be one last twist in Evas tale before she departs for good…
