Gemma Winter could have been hiding a very dark past all this time as the arrival of her brother Paul throws up some secrets in Coronation Street.

Little is known about Gemmas backstory, but we could be about to learn more than we ever imagined. Is she harbouring a secret behind her feisty exterior?

Her brother Paul could be key in shedding light on the dark past. Gemma has been avoiding him since he arrived back in Weatherfield, and hes left angry that she is refusing to listen to him, especially as shes going around trying to ruin his bid for a new life.

But soon hell play his trump card as hes allegedly set to threaten to reveal the fact that he took the blame for killing an old woman, a woman who Gemma actually killed. Hes also seemingly convinced Gemma could do it again.

A source told The Sun: Paul thinks Gemmas up to her old tricks, and Rita could be in danger.

Gemma tries her best to keep Paul away from Rita, but things could get difficult as he starts to get settled.

Details of the supposed death are not known, whether it was planned or accidental. But could this mean that Rita should reconsider her flatmate situation?

Paul recently showed up by barging his way through Gemmas door under the guise of a stalker. Hes been released from prison and is back to start a new life and wants his sister to help him start a fresh.

Having been back just a few days hes already struck up a bond with Billy Mayhew, and hes made it clear he already has feelings for him. Sounds like our Paul isnt going anywhere any time soon. What will this mean for Gemma?
