The animosity between Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) and Kel (Joseph Alessi) has been bubbling for quite some time now in Coronation Street, but its set to reach new heights in the coming episodes, as Paul takes it upon himself to confront his abuser over his past actions.
Bernie (Jane Hazelgrove) was delighted when old flame Kel came back into her life. Although daughter Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) was aware of Kels dark side, she was equally pleased to see Kel on the cobbles, as she was convinced that he was good for her wayward mum.
However, it soon became apparent that Paul didnt share in his familys delight, and it was later revealed that Kel had groomed and sexually abused him when he was only 14. Astute as ever, Billy (Daniel Brockelbank) figured it all out rather quickly — much to Pauls dismay.

Tensions are set to escalate further in the coming episodes, and Coronation Street has revealed that Paul will take it upon himself to confront Kel about their past.
During their conversation, the young lad realises that Kel only fancied him when he was a young boy. As a result, he loses it and punches Kel, which knocks him unconscious.
