Sally Metcalfe is not holding back in prison as she determines to turn her ordeal into something positive in Coronation Street. But she doesnt have the support of her sister Gina Seddon – who is busy making designs on Sallys husband Tim while she is locked up!
With Sally behind bars awaiting trial, she has started to get her head around being away from her family and she occupies herself by campaigning to the governor to arrange a selection of recreational classes for the inmates.
The other women are impressed with Sally as she rallies them together to help her and, at visiting time, Sally proudly tells her family that she plans to properly stand up for the rights of prisoners.
Gina is sour and tells Sally that her days as mayor are over and she should let go and Sally is stung by her reaction to her positive action and snaps that she doesnt want anything more to do with her.

Gina is left feeling grotty after her fallout with her sister and so her date with Dev Alahan falls flat – Gina is much happier at home sitting and watching box sets with Tim. But her Netflix and Chill with Tim doesnt go unnoticed by Geoff, he warns his son that Gina clearly has designs on him.
As Sally makes plans for her release after hearing that Paula has new evidence against Duncan, will she return to find that her husband is with her sister?
