Pat Phelan is a man who should be worried in Coronation Street as Seb Franklin has been given no choice but to speak up against him as Anna Windass’ trial kicks off. After Gary tracked Seb down and discovered his belief that Phelan killed Luke Britton, Gary went to the police but was left frustrated to later see the murderer walking free.

Luring Seb to the street by making him believe that Faye was in trouble, Gary implored him to do the right thing and back him up to the police as well as in court. Seb refused, reminding Gary that he is way more frightened of Phelan than he is of him so Gary was forced to take drastic action.

With the help of a more reluctant Tim Metcalfe, Gary bundled Seb into the back of one of the cabs and refused to let him out until he saw sense and agreed to take the stand in court the next day.
