Corrie has cast the mum of evil bully Tyler Jefferies as actress Kerri Quinn will soon be arriving on the cobbles. Quinn recently starred in BBC show Come Home, opposite Christopher Eccleston.
Spiteful teen Tyler has wreaked havoc in Weatherfield in recent months. After recruiting wayward Simon Barlow into his gang, Tylers robbery on Flora went badly wrong when the pensioner interrupted the teens ransacking her flat. Tyler hurled Floras jewellery box at her, knocking her to the ground and Simon ended up staying with her.
Luckily Flora pulled through and after some convincing Simon gave Tylers name to the police. Tyler desperately needs an adult around as he followed up the attack by poisoning Ken Barlows beloved dog Eccles.
