Poor Sally is about to fall victim to a nasty con as newcomer Duncan continues to pressure her for a charity grant from the council and she makes a catastrophic mistake.

It turns out that Duncan is a bit of a con man (shock!) and Sally falls right into his trap after he tries to pull at her heartstrings over what happened to his wife. The find Duncans office cleared out and the trickster is nowhere to be seen and before long, Sally learns that a cool £40k of the councils money has gone walkies – putting her role as major and her liberty and reputation all at stake.

As Sally reels from the nasty con, the council inform her that they will need to inform the police – and there is a big worry that Sally could actually be implicated as a criminal associate of Duncans who did this deliberately!
