If you have a weak stomach, you might find reading Emmerdales Grahams grim recipes more palatable than what youre about to watch from the Coronation Street lot.
The lovely Coronation Street cast are nothing if not supportive, and when their pal Sair Khan was faced with a nasty bushtrucker trial in the Im A Celeb jungle they decided to back her up with a trial of their own.
With the Bistro suitably transformed into a bushtucker bistro, Lucy Fallon and Bhavna Limbachia risked their breakfasts to chomp on meal worms and swallow scorpions.
Wait, it gets even more grim.
With their host as Nicola Thorp, who was exempt from the challenge as a vegan, the women began their trial with cheese and onion crickets with meal worms. They saw those off no problem. But when they were dished up termites on toast, all hell broke loose.

In fact, Mikey North and Alex Bain (Gary Windass and Simon Barlow) decided they needed help in chowing down on the questionable dish after the two ladies balked at the idea.
Mikey made the mistake of getting cocky, going in for several handfuls of the critter fruit cocktail and declaring how tasty they were. But karma loves a cocky sod and it wasnt long before he became unstuck, creasing over as he ate a bite of scorpion – complete with spine.

But Karma saved its full dose for the appetising sago pupae salad which finished him off, and Bhavnas comment says it all: Bite it so we can see all the puss inside.
Nope nope NOPE!
Mikeys guts said nope too, and it turned out to be a good thing he enjoyed the critter fruit cocktail so much as he got to see it in reverse. Bhavna shoved a bucket under his face and he was unfortunately only too keen to fill it. Consider that task failed. And well be hearing that retching in our dreams for years to come.
Good effort though guys, you did Sair proud. Even if she did make it through her own trial of camels hoof and mouse tails without puking once.
