Fans are beside themselves as tickets for up and coming artist Anderson .Paak sold out in minutes after they were put on sale – many fans are reporting the ticket site ‘crashed.’

Anderson confirmed that he will be performing a one-off free show in London on 13 March, only yesterday.

As an Apple Music event, the concert will be free for all but all fans had to do was find themselves successful in applying for tickets when they went live this morning at 9am.

But that didn’t happen for many fans who are reporting that Ticketmaster ‘crashed’ as they attempted to apply for tickets.

One fan told Metro.co.uk that they had secured two tickets but the site ‘failed’ her and now she is resorting to standing outside the venue on the day of the event to ‘hope for the best.’

‘I’m going to have to go there and hope for the best,’ they told us.

‘Ticketmaster failed me as the site crashed. I got two sets of tickets. Both occasions after putting in my details the site told me something was wrong and they were gone. Just like that.’

The fan added that the website read ‘It’s not you, it’s us’ on both occasions when the page crashed on her.

Fans on Twitter had a similar meltdown with some spewing the conspiracy theory that tickets did not exist in the first place:

Me, I don't care. I will see Anderson. Paak next week.

My God will make a way!!

Not really a fan of capital punishment, but would definitely support executing everyone who successfully applied for free tickets for that Anderson .Paak gig next Tuesday just so they could sell them on. The world would be an objectively better place, wouldn't it?
