It is pretty safe to say that the dream wedding that Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) had in mind didnt exactly come to pass as she had imagined in EastEnders. Walking out on her conflicted groom Callum Highway (Tony Clay) after discovering that he is gay and slept with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), her already shoddy day ended with her party being held up in a siege by Hunter Owen (Charlie Winter).
Ben was shot in the crossfire and was kept alive by the soothing tones of the man who loves him and the excellent biro work of everyones favourite NHS hero Sonia Fowler (Natale Cassidy). But now, as he fights for life, Callum and Whitney both face the aftermath of the horrific events and emotions are running high tonight.
The Mitchells keep a vigil by Bens bedside but while fans are comfortable that he will pull through, the family havent seen the upcoming spoiler pictures so have no idea whether he will live or die. Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) is frantic at the thought of Lexi losing her dad and so Jay (Jamie Borthwick) offers her comfort.

Meanwhile, Callum is all over the place – with his instincts telling him to go and visit Ben, he knows it could be the wrong thing to do and may not be his place at this time.
