EastEnders villain Stuart Highway has let his mask slip once again tonight, exposing a nasty and threatening attitude that has left Linda Carter feeling unsafe and shaken in her home. Stuart was invited back into the fold after Mick accepted his apology and informed the Carters and Halfway that Stuart had been a victim of abuse while inside.
But Linda was less than uncomfortable with having him around and when Stuart joined her in the cellar to help with barrels, she told him that she understood why he had been a hunter but could never forgive him for dragging Mick into it.
When Linda tried to leave, he persisted in stepping in her way, leaving her concerned about his intimidating nature. And as she then said that shed prefer it if he and Mick called it a night, his expression darkened and he warned her not to tell him what to do and added, while looming close to her, that he does what he wants, when he wants.

As Linda was left feeling scared, Stuart swaggered away with a mirthless laugh but later in the week, pretends that it was all a joke and Linda simply got the wrong end of the stick.
But when Tina then goes out on a night out with him and realises that he was responsible for a terrifying incident years ago, his behaviour towards her will be deplorable and the Carters will slowly realise that they have a dangerous enemy on their hands.
