Ed Sheeran is set to perform an intimate gig in London with all proceeds going to charity.

The 27-year-old will be coming to Camden’s London Irish Centre to put on a fundraising event to an audience of just 400 people.

Since rising to fame the singer has always shown how proud he is of his Irish roots and today made sure that he announced the news to coincide with St. Patrick’s Day.

Irish broadcaster and writer, Dermot O’Leary will present the gig.

The singer announced the event on Instagram where he shared a video of himself discussing how excited he was to help the LIC.

He said: ‘My Irish heritage is something that I’m very proud of and I’m very excited to be doing an upcoming event with Dermot O’Leary at the London Irish Centre on June 19th.

‘The LIC has been the heart of all things Irish in London for over 60 years, so I’m pretty pumped to be doing this event to raise money for them and help people that need it.’

Ed already has nine sold out shows in Ireland, so those unlucky fans who missed out on a ticket, might now have a chance of seeing the star after all.

If fans donate £10 or more to the centre then they will be entered in a draw to win tickets for the gig.
