Ed Sheerans Beautiful People ft. Khalid on track to give him 7th number one single

Ed Sheeran is on course to claim his seventh UK number one single with the release of Beautiful People ft. Khalid.

The Official Charts has released their first look ahead of Fridays Official Singles Chart, and based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports Ed is looking for success.

The track comes from the release of his latest album, No.6 Collaborations Project.

As hinted at in the title, each song was a collaboration with at least one other artist and two other songs from the album are also set to land in the top five, Remember the Name featuring Eminem & 50 Cent at number three and Take Me Back To London with Stormzy at four.

Elsewhere in the first look charts, a new remix of Billie Eilishs Bad Guy featuring Justin Bieber could see the track reenter the Top 20.

There is also a new entry for Krept & Konans I Spy featuring Headie One & K-Trap at Number 20.

No.6 Collaborations Project is certainly a star-studded line-up, and has been mostly well-received online, with a score of 65 out of 100 on Metacritic.

No.6 however isnt the first time hes made a full album of collaborations.
