Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) will find herself at the centre of a dramatic storyline that could end in the death of Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) and her banged up behind bars.

And all because she couldnt wait to send a simple text.

In a poignant storyline about the dangers of texting while driving, Megan is set to cause a catastrophic accident that will see her distracted at the wheel by sending what she thinks is an innocent nearly there text to Frank Clayton (Michael Praed). But when she takes her eyes off the road she careens into the back of another car – which happens to be driven by Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) – who in turn drives straight into Eric Pollard.

While at the time of the accident shes in total shock and apologetic, Jamie will not be one to let her get away with not taking the blame – hes arrived in the village to start a new life and isnt about to have something like that mar his new beginning.
