Did Lachlan White kill again tonight in Emmerdale? The evil teenager struggled with his aunt Rebecca, after weeks of keeping her captive in a shack in the woods.
Rebecca nearly escaped captivity. Lachlan had considered letting her escape abroad with baby Seb, after she pleaded with him to take mercy on her.
But Lachlans plans unraveled after Belle surprised him with a holiday for his birthday, making a four day trip away a far longer one. A desperate Rebecca ran out of food and water during that time.
She hammered at her chains, with little luck and talked aloud to baby Seb, who was staying with Aaron and Robert.
She told Seb that she loved him and promised to return to him. Rebecca wasted away and became skinny enough to slip out of the chains that Lachlan had bound her in. But the door to the shack was still locked and Rebecca was too weak to force it open.

There were also others wandering in the woods.
Angelica, Carl, April, Heath, Cathy and Arthur had heard strange noises in the woods during their camping trip. They decided to regroup and return, in order to hunt ghosts.
The children lied to Nicola and Laurel and pretended that they were off to help Harriet in the church. Instead, they ventured deep into the woods. When a clueless Harriet ran into Nicola and Laurel at the cafe, the incensed mothers realised that theyd been lied to.
In the midst of all this madness, Lachlan returned from holiday. He tried to slip away into the woods but Lydia wouldnt let him.
A relentlessly enthusiastic Lydia blocked every evasive excuse Lachlan had and dragged him off to lunch at the pub. When he overheard a panicked Laurel and Nicola talking about the children in the woods, he dashed off, determined to get to Rebecca before the kids.
It seemed as though the children had beaten Lachlan to the shack – but they were at Zaks hideout in the woods, not the decrepit chalet that Lachlan had hidden Rebecca in.
But when Lachlan found Rebecca, she was waiting. She knocked him out with a frying pan and ran out of the door he had opened, into the woods. But Rebecca was tired and hungry and crucially, she was also slow.
Lachlan recovered from the blow and chased Rebecca out into the woods. Eventually he tracked her down but both ended up slipping and falling. For the second time, Lachlan regained conciousness quickly. With a wound on his forehead bleeding, Lachlan picked up an unconcious Rebecca and dragged her to an empty shack.

When Rebecca woke up, it seemed like she couldnt remember what had happened. Rebecca even asked after her dad.
Lachlan sagged in relief as Rebecca suddenly seemed harmless.
But then Rebecca and Lachlan heard Zaks voice, from outside the shack. He was just passing by but it was enough for Rebecca to leap up. But before she could run or scream, Lachlan had forced her back down and held her in a chokehold.
A furious Lachlan realised that Rebecca had lied about not being able to remember anything when she regained consciousness. As he chained her up again, she told him tearfully that she couldnt stay in the shack anymore.
Lachlan told her that she wouldnt have to and then proceeded to attack a desperate Rebecca. As the episode ended, viewers could only hear sounds of Rebecca struggling from the cabin.
Is Rebecca dead? Lachlan is capable of killing anyone who gets in the way of his love for Belle.
Actor Thomas Atkinson, who plays the killer teen, recently confirmed to TV Times that the saga reaches its peak this autumn.
