English rock band Coasts have confirmed that they will split after a final farewell tour.
It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to end Coasts, the band shared on their social pages.
This is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make but we ultimately feel that it is a positive one. We have reached a point in our lives where we want to explore different avenues.
We started this band as five best friends and well finish it as five best friends.
Coasts has been our lives for the past 10 years and we wouldnt have had it any other way. Weve had the most amazing time and weve achieved more than we could ever have dreamed of. Weve released two albums that we love very much, weve played shows all over the world, met some truly amazing people and made memories for life.
The group consists of Chris Caines (Vocals), Liam Willford (Guitar), James Gamage (Bass), David Goulbourn (Keyboards) and Ben Street (Drums), and they had two Top 40 albums.

We want to thank each and every one of you who has supported us along the way, we wouldnt have made it this far without you and we want to celebrate with you one last time, the band added, revealing that their UK tour in October will be their final one.
This farewell tour will culminate with a massive show in London at Shepherds Bush Empire on 28 October where we will be playing a huge collection of our songs for one last time. We hope that as many of you as possible can make it to the show to end this story with us in style.
The ten-date tour will kick off in Cardiff on 15 October.
