Gabriel Jesus left the pitch against Crystal Palace in floods of tears after just 20 minutes as the Brazilian striker picked up an injury.
The 20-year-old ended his 2017 in serious distress, with Pep Guardiola entering the pitch to comfort the young attacker amid fears he’s picked up a serious problem.
Jesus had been hobbling around the pitch after a collision around the 11-minute mark where he appeared to hurt his knee.

And he collapsed in a heap by the managerial dugout 10 minutes later as he was withdrawn and replaced by Sergio Aguero.
Jesus has endured several injury issues since moving to the Etihad, damaging a metatarsal in his foot at the start of the year, before fracturing his eye socket in the summer.
His reaction suggested he fears the worst with this latest setback, and with the World Cup on the horizon in 2018, he will be praying it’s nothing too serious.
The Brazilian has been in excellent form this season, scoring eight goals in 11 Premier League starts as Guardiola continues to rotate the youngster and Aguero in the central striking role.
But the Spaniard is set to be without the former Palmeiras forward for the near future at least as City continue to challenge on four fronts.
