Trump Reportedly Called Bill Belichick To Check In On Tom Brady – Winning!

Sports

President Donald Trump was reportedly concerned about Tom Bradys status and personally called New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick to check in.

The New York Times wrote the following:

At a breakfast event last week for Senator Tom Cotton, Republican of Arkansas, Mr. Kelly marveled that Mr. Trump had spent a long time the day before on the phone with Bill Belichick, the New England Patriots coach, talking about the status of Tom Brady, the star quarterback, according to two people familiar with his remarks, one of whom was present.

I cant even begin to tell you guys how much I love this move. Love it to the moon and back.

There is nothing more American than football. Absolutely nothing, and I want the president involved in Americas greatest sport. Did you ever read any stories about Obama calling the Bears head coach to make sure everything was okay? Didnt think so.

Im looking at CNN right now, and the banner reads “Credibility Crisis.” This is why Trump won the election. CNN thinks middle America gives a damn about a “Credibility Crisis.” They dont. They care about football, and Trump cares about football. His relationship with Belichick and Brady has been well documented. Its not a secret at all. So, it makes sense that hed want to check in on his two old friends amid reports that Brady might not come back. I believe thats what ordinary Americans like to call leadership and friendship.

On a side note, I really wish I had the power to just pick up the phone and start calling football coaches all over the place. There would be nothing more entertaining to me than just dialing up the Lions coach after a win or a loss and picking his brain for why he did anything he did during the game. Id much rather have that power than $50 million in my bank account, and its not even close.
