The weather outside is frightful today for many in Los Angeles, where winter mostly means throwing on a hoodie and (maybe) swapping flip-flops for a pair of Vans.
But Southern Californians are getting a tiny taste of the season, with snow potentially falling as low as 1,500 feet in some areas, cold winds and hail falling from the sky.
Pea-sized hail has reportedly fallen in Laurel Canyon, West Hollywood and beyond, though it’s been more of a flurry than a storm.
