Nancy Osborne is set to get a blast from the past in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes as she comes face to face with Fran – the woman who murdered her sister Becca in prison 11 years ago. Becca had been on the verge of being released from her sentence when she was stabbed and killed in her cell.
Fran has now reached out to Nancy by sending her a latter and despite Darrens insistence that she ignore it, Nancy has been wanting some closure by hearing what Fran has to say. Fran reaches out again next week but Darren intercepts her contact and demands to know what she is after.
Meanwhile, as Nancy continues her tutoring, a young woman watches her from afar and as she makes a phone call, it emerges that newcomer Brooke – played by Talia Grant – is the daughter of Fran and has arrived to try and get through to Nancy.
Brooke uses Nancys session to strike up a conversation with her but talk soon turns to Fran leaving Nancy on her guard. Brooke tells Nancy that she needs to forgive Fran for what she has done – as she is terminally ill.

Nancy eventually agrees to go with Brooke to see Fran in hospital and a frail Fran pleads with Nancy for forgiveness and explains to her that her autistic child Brooke is going to be left alone in the world when she dies.
But can Nancy bring herself to let go of her hatred for Fran for robbing her of her sister? Or will Fran pass away with Nancy unable to forgive her?
Later in the week, things take another bad turn for Nancy as she collapses when preparing dinner for the kids and suffers an MS attack. Will anyone be able to come to her aid?
