So we all know that Thanos really wreaked some hardcore damage at the end of Infinity War.
If you havent seen it yet, *spoilers*. But also, what have you been doing with your life?
Anyway, Thanos almighty powerful click saw the demise of basically everyone we held dearly in the Avengers universe at the end of the most recent film.
However, the Russo brothers, who directed the film, arent done with our hearts yet, it seems.
While speaking on the commentary of the flick, it has been claimed showrunners heavily hinted that there was another casualty of Thanos power move.
And it doesnt look good.
Nick de Semlyen wrote on Twitter this weekend: Russo Brothers confirm on the Infinity War commentary that Valkyrie has escaped Thanos massacre.
But of the greatest character in Thor Ragnarok they say only, “Pray for Korg.”

Guess there is a silver lining that Valkyrie is safe. So theres that.
Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely added some new information during their commentary – which was on the home entertainment release, which just landed in the States – but we can only assume fans wont be very happy with any decision to mess with Korg, voiced by Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.
We dont know for sure if Korg is dead, however we still have a bit of a wait for Phase Four of the franchise, so dont lose too much sleep over it…if you can.
It comes as one eagle-eyed Marvel fan might have just cleared up a mystery about how Thanos made it to the end of the film almost in one piece.
At the end of the film (you know, the big where Thanos clicked his fingers and wiped out half the population) Thor attacked Thanos with his new axe Stormbreaker.
When we next saw Thanos, he was looking at the world he created, but Stormbreaker – which Thor had lodged in his chest – was nowhere to be seen.
Reddit user evilcartoonist seems to have worked out Thanos managed to ditch Stormbreaker when he teleported out of Wakanda.

They explained: Right before Thanos escapes Wakanda, you can see subtle green sparks of the Time Stone reversing his injury.
Thanks to a helpful image from the film they managed to share, around where Stormbreaker is stuck in Thanos chest you can see the green sparks mentioned, meaning that he used the Time Stone to heal himself.
Doctor Strange previously used the Time Stone in his standalone film, demonstrating how it worked on an apple.

When the stone was used on it, he could make the apple deteriorate, and reverse time so the apple was whole again. Its pretty nifty, but also a headache for the Avengers who are now quite a few soldiers down.
