With filming officially underway for the highly-anticipated horror sequel It: Chapter Two, James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain are making sure that fans remain on the edge of their seats.
The actors, who play the adult versions of Bill Denbrough and Beverly Marsh respectively, both took to social media to share the first glimpse of the terrifying movie.
Jessica showed her 1.8million Instagram followers she wasnt clowning around by debuting her transformation by posting a split-screen of her and Sophia Lillis along with the caption: DAY 1 #BeverlyMarsh.
Her co-star James, who is best known for playing a young Charles Xavier in the X-Men franchise, upped the ante by posting a series of black and white Polaroids of himself with his fellow cast members Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone and Jack Dylan Grazer, as well as Chastain and Lieberher.
Stephen Kings big-screen adaptation about a child-killing clown was one of 2017 biggest hits and it was just one half of the story. Released in September, It has made more than $700m (£532m) at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

When it was confirmed that Pennywise would be making a return in 2019 and the story would follow the children of the first movie into adulthood, red-headed Jessica was a naturally linked to the role of Beverly Marsh. She recently revealed exactly why she decided to play the feisty protagonist.

I actually love the horror genre, because I found that in the past — I think things are changing now — but in the past the horror genre [in particular] really has great female characters, Chastain told Indie Wire.
Im very happy to work again in a genre that actually has empowered women. And in that genre, you usually see the person surviving at the end being the lady. Do you know what I mean? She conquers the monsters or the bad guys, and she walks away at the end.
It: Chapter Two is currently set for release on 6 September 2019.
