News about the as-yet-unnamed sixth Jason Bourne film have been kept closely under wraps, but it seems like the first actor attached to the project has been revealed, with Jeremy Irvine thought to be swapping Mammia Mia 2s musical numbers in favour of the action packed series.
A film insider exclusively revealed to the Mail Online: Jeremy is beyond excited about landing the role and is ready to grab the action-packed film with both hands.
Its a big move for him so hes keeping details about his role under lock and key.
Not much is known about what role he will play in the film, but his appointment has posed new questions about whether Matt Damon, who has been attached to the franchise since the beginning, will reprise his leading role as a CIA assassin.
Forty-eight-year-old Damon has said he would only return to the Jason Bourne world if he had an incredible story; reps for Matt Damon told Metro.co.uk that they had heard no news about a new film.

He told the Toronto Sun in 2017: It would have to be a pretty incredible story to get us all back on the horse. This last one didnt do as well as the one we did 10 years ago, so maybe people are done with the character.
Look, we all love working together and those movies are a lot of fun to make, so we sure would be happy to do it, if we can figure out a good story.
Matt Damon and Jeremy Irvines reps have been contacted for comment.
