JIO MAMI Film Festival:

The 20th Jio MAMI film festival kick-started in Mumbai on October 25. The first film to be screened at the prestigious film fest was Vasan Balas Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The film starring Radhika Madan, Abhimanyu Dassani, Gulshan Devaiah, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jimit Trivedi got a standing ovation from the audience and members of the fraternity.

Producer Ronnie Screwvala, who was quite excited after hearing the story, said, “I knew that if anyone can pull it off, Vasan can. Though we planned to release in November, but now after this response, we will make it next year.”

The first day of the festival was attended by celebrities like Swara Bhasker, Naseeruddin Shah, Sayani Gupta, Kiran Rao, Radhika Madana and Sanya Malhotra among others.
