Missed out on the biggest K-Pop news stories from the past week? Metro.co.uk has got you covered.

Were back with another episode of K-Pop Countdown, our new weekly round-up of all the biggest news, gossip and announcements from the past week in K-pop.

Good news for ONCE this week as JYP Entertainment has announced TWICE will return with a new album.

If the official artwork is anything to go by, member Mina – who recently took time out from the group after being diagnosed with anxiety disorder – might be involved.

While fans of one girl group are celebrating, fans of another will be disappointed to hear that both Amber and Victoria from f(x) have left SM Entertainment, making chances of a 4 Walls follow up look less likely.

But its not all bad news this week, we promise! Chen from EXO is bringing chilled out autumn vibes with his second solo comeback Dear My Dear.

It comes after he made his debut as a soloist with April and a Flower in April this year.

Meanwhile X1, put together on the survival show Produce X 101, smashed a first week sales record with their debut album Quantum Leap, released on 27 August.

And if you want to try your luck as a K-Pop star, BTS agency Big Hit are holding auditions around the world for their new girl group expected to debut in 2021.

Auditions take place in locations such as Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Seoul – but none in Europe, sadly, so be prepared to hop on a flight.
