He promised to release his new album Yandhi this weekend but there was no sign.
And now Kanye West says its not actually finished: he just needs to nip to Africa to complete recording.
Kim Kardashian confirmed that the album has in fact been pushed back by a whole two months, to November 23, but it is worth the wait, she said in a tweet.
Kanye blamed the delay on his management teams suggestion to include sounds that have never been heard before on his latest musical offering.

After a long and drawn out pause, he told explained to TMZ in the most Kanye way that Ye is now back in mode and off medication, working out, breathing as much fresh air as possible, being himself.

He added: This is the type of energy that were putting into the album so were going to Africa in two weeks to record because I felt this energy of my roots in Chicago.

Now I need to go to what we call Africa and touch the soil, cook the food and have my kids in the studio.
Many fans expressed their disappointment on social media that Yandhi did not materialise this weekend.
This man really pushed back Yandhi a whole 2 months from its original release date im mad wtf, said one person on Twitter.
