Katy Perry testified against outrageous and untrue claims that producer Dr. Luke raped her, it has been revealed.

Legal teams for Dr. Luke have lifted the lid on a deposition given by Katy, after Kesha voluntarily dropped her own assault case against the producer earlier this month.

Dr. Luke is now suing Kesha for defamation, accusing her of telling fellow popstar Lady Gaga that he sexually assaulted Katy Perry in 2016.

In court, Katy confirmed that she did not have a sexual or romantic relationship with Dr Luke and repeatedly denied that he gave her drugs and raped her.

A statement released by Dr. Luke on Tuesday reads: The false narrative Kesha created about being raped became widely accepted, damaging Dr. Lukes reputation irreparably.

Compounding this malicious act, in 2016, Kesha told Lady Gaga that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry, which is outrageous and untrue.

Katy Perry testified under oath in this case that Dr. Luke never raped her. Regardless, Kesha refused to apologize. Instead, she issued a press release which again irresponsibly suggested that Katy Perry was actually raped by Dr. Luke.

It seems that Kesha wanted to perpetuate the falsehood that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry.

However, Keshas team deny that she was deliberately spreading a false narrative.

Her attorney replied by saying: Kesha has never claimed to have any independent knowledge of any alleged assault of Katy Perry.

The statement went on: But, to be clear, Dr. Luke is suing Kesha based on a private, one-on-one text message that Kesha sent Lady Gaga in 2016, shortly after Interscope CEO John Janick told Kesha and Lady Gaga hed heard a rumor that Dr. Luke had also abused Katy Perry.

The statement went public as part of Dr Lukes $50million defamation case against Kesha.

Kesha has dropped a case against him in which she accused him of drugging and raping her after a party with the Hilton sisters in 2005.

His statement continues: Now, after four years of litigation, it is Dr. Lukes defamation claim that remains.

Evidence is now publicly available to show that Keshas Complaint was filed pursuant to a “Press Plan” and PR media blitz, designed to create the maximum negative public pressure on Dr. Luke in order to get him to give in to her contract demands.

A part of his case, he is seeking $10.2million (£7.7million) in earnings he lost from not working with Katy.
