Heisman winning quarterback Lamar Jackson made it crystal clear at the combine that he has zero intentions of switching positions.
There has been lots of speculation that the former Louisville star doesn’t have what it takes to play quarterback at the next level. That’s complete garbage, and one of the laziest takes in sports I’ve heard in a very long time.
The man is a stud and lightning quick. Is he going to be making Brett Favre-esque throws all over the field? Probably not, but neither are the vast majority of quarterbacks in the league.
Well, Jackson took the time to give a big metaphorical middle finger to everybody who questions whether or not he’s good enough.
Lamar Jackson shuts down every report of him playing any position other than quarterback.

Good for Jackson for not buying into this garbage. He is absolutely a quarterback at the next level. Naturally, he won’t be a fit for every team, but there’s without a doubt systems that he can dominate in. There’s going to be a team that pulls the trigger on him, coaches him up, puts some talent around him and they can win.
I have zero doubt in my mind that Jackson is an NFL quarterback, and I hope he proves all his doubters wrong.
There’s nothing more entertaining than watching “experts” have to eat crow when they’re consistently proven wrong.
