Leonardo DiCaprio has been cast in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming ninth movie.

The 43-year-old actor is set to reunite with the director following 2012’s Django Unchained, being DiCaprio’s first film since bagging the Oscar for The Revenant.

According to Deadline, DiCaprio will play an ‘aging actor’ in the film, which is being described as a Pulp Fiction-esque flick set in 1969 Los Angeles during the summer of the Charles Manson murders.

Considering Leonardo’s role was arguably the greatest part of Tarantino’s Django Unchained, this casting announcement is undoubtedly exciting, and promising, news.
