Linkin Park have paid tribute to their brother Chester Bennington a year after the singer took his own life.
The 41-year-old frontment died by suicide at his family home in Los Angeles, on 20 July while his wife and children were away; his body was found by a friend the following morning.
Now, one year on to the day his bandmates have paid tribute to their brother in a heartfelt tweet.
Writing to their 6.23 million followers, they revealed how they were still grieving the loss of their one-of-a-kind frontman.
The band wrote: To our brother Chester. It has been a year since your passing — a surreal rotation of grief, heartbreak, refusal, and recognition. And yet it [still] feels like you are close by, surrounding us with your memory and your light.
Your one-of-a-kind spirit has authored an indelible imprint on our hearts — our jokes, our joy, and our tenderness. Eternally grateful for the love, life, and creative passion you shared with us and the world.

They added: We miss you more than words can express.
Before signing off the letter with love along with the hashtags, #MakeChesterProud and #320ChangesDirection.
Fans were quick to comment on the post and also paid their respect to the rock legend.
One wrote: The tears have started. Miss you so much Chester. It feels like it was only yesterday, and yet feels like a lifetime ago.
Another added: Rest In paradise Chester you are fucking amazing no matter where you are Thank you so much for everything youve done Thank you for sticking by me when nobody was buy my side thank you for saving my life in more than 4 occasions I love you man (sic)

Chesters wife Talinda has also opened up about the impact of his passing and how she and her children are coping with their loss.

Talking to Fox News she said: I have his microphone that he has used on stage for the past nine to ten years and you pick it up and you can feel it tingling in your hand.

The kids are allowed to talk to it when they want to speak to their dad and feel close to him.
