Lisa Riley is back as Mandy Dingle on ITV soap Emmerdale and has dropped a major cryptic clue for the shows fans, joking that Mandys new handbag – which is Channel and not Chanel – has something in it that viewers should watch out for.
Theres something in that bag, viewers should keep an eye on it, she teased.

Lisa had been rumoured to be returning to the Dales as Mandy Dingle for quite some time, and executive producer Jane Hudson finally confirmed the news in July.

Shes now filming full-time and her first scenes will air in mid-September, and she told This Morning viewers that when she returned to the small screen for a brief appearance as Mandy in January she was blown away by the response.
Admitting that she hadnt been sure shed made the right decision, she could now say that she felt fulfilled as an actor.

And Mandy being Mandy, it doesnt take her long to get caught up in all the signature drama of the Dales as, upon her arrival back in the village, she makes a shocking discovery.
One that could have huge ramifications for Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Jessies (Sandra Marvin) marriage.
