Little Mix are hoping to be able to speak to their LBGTQ fan base through their latest album, LM5.

The girl group are turning things up a notch to release their fifth studio album in November.

Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson have been promoting their new work for some time now and fans can barely contain their excitement.

Speaking about the themes of the album, Jade said that she hopes their new music will evoke emotions with a wider audience.

We definitely had our LGBTQ fan base in mind when writing this album, the 25-year-old told Star magazine.

There are a couple of songs on there that are about loving yourself and there are a few references to being gay.

This isnt the first time the band have supported the gay community, with them attending the Attitude Awards earlier this month.

The group also performed at iconic London nightclub G-A-Y.

Jade said it was an honour to have such a large following in the community.

Whenever I go on a gay night out, I tend to get a bit swamped, but everyones lovely, she added. Its really nice. Its like being around family and I think thats why Ive sort of been drawn to that community a lot.

Earlier this month, the X Factor winners announced their new album on radio chart show The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 and told presenters Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob fans can expect big things.

Yes – they are going on tour in 2019.

Absolutely, Jade replied when asked if the girlband had a tour lined up, before adding: Am I allowed to say that?

The upcoming tour follows hot on the heels of the release of Little Mixs latest single, Nicki Minaj collaboration track Woman Like Me.

We love how youve named each of our eras over the years. So weve decided to call our next album… #LM5, they wrote to their 11.7 million followers.

Its gearing up to be a successful year for the Power singers, who have already played a number of shows around the UK this summer with their Summer Hits Tour 2018, which took the group to stadiums and small outdoor venues across the country.

Last year also saw the girl band embark on their worldwide The Glory Days tour, which spanned Europe, Oceania, and the UK, and featured stellar support acts including The Vamps, Conor Maynard, Ella Eyre and Louisa Johnson.

So basically, 2019 is expected to be a good year for Little Mix fans.
