Fans of the DC cinematic universe have been eagerly looking forward to the release of this years Aquaman, and beyond that Wonder Woman 84.
But another movie getting fans excited about the future of the Extended Universe is Harley Quinn spin-off Birds Of Prey.
And it looks like the film is set to be one of Warner Bros and DCs most grounded superhero adventures yet, as producer and star Margot Robbie has confirmed the film is set to feature a diverse cast.
Recently asked whether it the casting would be more inclusive than previous superhero films, she told Yahoo! Movies: Yep, yes exactly, real life isnt so one specific images. Weve got to reflect that onscreen.
Its the latest tid bit that weve had about the film, which is being directed by Cathy Yan (the DCEUs first no-white female director, and the second to helm a film in the franchise) and penned by Batgirl and Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson.

Wolf Of Wall Street star Margot is confirmed to be reprising her breakout Suicide Squad role, though apart from that we know little at all about the project.
The story and groundings of Birds Of Prey remain a mystery as well, as in the DC print universe the Brids Of Prey are a superhero team of heroines helmed founded by Oracle (Barbara Gordon/Batgirls post The Killing Joke identity after being left paralyzed by The Joker) with Black Canary and Huntress as the core team members.
More: Margot Robbie
Margot recently described the film as an R-rated girl gang film.
She told Collider: I pitched the idea of an R-rated girl gang film including Harley, because I was like, “Harley needs friends.” Harley loves interacting with people, so dont ever make her do a standalone film.
Shes got to be with other people, it should be a girl gang. I wasnt seeing enough girl gangs on screen, especially in the action space. So that was always a big part of it.
