Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson just 'days away from death'

The late Michael Jacksons father Joe Jackson is just days away from death.

Reports emerged several days ago that Joe had been hospitalised and that doctors had spoken to the family, however his son Jermaine told Dailymail.com that the people around the father-of-eleven have prevented the family, including his wife Katherine, from seeing him.

Now sources close to Joe gave revealed that he is significantly weaker.

Speaking to TMZ, the source added: Its now a waiting game, and the end could come at any time.

Joe has been poorly for a number of years; according to reports, he had suffered a stroke on his 87th birthday.

In 2017 he, along with daughter Janet, had been involved in a car accident near the Las Vegas Strip after a red SUV hit the Black Jaguar where Joe was in the passenger seat. He was later rushed to hospital, but had got out of it without a scratch.

The 88-year-old is the patriarch of the Jackson family of entertainers, and managed his children including pop icons Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson for years.

It was Joe who created The Jackson 5 and got them signed first with Steeltown Records and later Motown Records in 1969, which turned them into international stars.
