Michelle Hardwick has revealed how a random man invited himself to her wedding to Emmerdale boss Kate Brooks, and actually turned up too.
The 43-year-old actress, who plays Vanessa Woodfield in Emmerdale, married Kate on 10 September in Elvis Presleys former home at Graceland, Memphis in the US.
Speaking on This Morning to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Michelle shared a story of how a maintenance man from the hotel they were staying managed to bag a spot on the big day – despite not even having over any family or friends.

When we turned up at the hotel in Memphis, Michelle said. We were trying to look for a room and then this guy who worked there, John the maintenance guy, and hes going, “Hey girls, how can I help you?”
We were going, “Oh were just looking for this room,” so he showed us to our suite, and he asks what brings us here to Memphis, and we said, “Oh were getting married on Tuesday.”
“Oh my goodness whereabouts?” We said Graceland, and were all very excited, and he said, “Tuesday? Tuesdays my day off, Id love to come and watch and bring my momma.”

We were going, “Okay,” weve just come out and not brought a soul with us, and because were so nice, were like, “Oh thats fine yeah yeah,” thinking its a few days away hes never going to turn up in a million years.
Despite not believing hed turn up, John delivered on his promise much to their surprise.
Cut to Kate and I getting out of our very lovely Cadillac which took us to Graceland, got out and Erica the wedding co-ordinator, was like, “Lovely to meet you, you look beautiful, and two of your friends are here.”
Im thinking oh my goodness its people from work, maybe family, and she went, “hes called John with his mum”.
