Its that time again when the air is filled with the sound of furious keyboard tapping and grunts of frustration as music lovers attempt to score themselves Glastonbury tickets.

Its a true exercise of skill and determination, as festival lovers attempt to get the king of all festival tickets against thousands of others doing the same, but this year, being the first after the fallow year, the frustration was at an all time high as tickets told out in just over half an hour.

Right then, coffee made, phones charged, laptops plugged in, registration numbers written out ready for each person, refresh finger exercised, all set for the chaos which is inevitably the Gibson household trying to buy #Glastonbury2019 tickets, one optimistic music lover wrote.

But the optimism was not to last, with hopes being dashed faster than you can say automatic refresh.

The question over whether or not to hit the refresh button reared its ugly head, as the page left users confused.

And, with a puff of smoke, they were gone in 37 minutes. People were not amused in missing out on the golden tickets, with fans branding the ticket sales system a farce, a joke and antiquated.

@GlastoFest farce of a system. Let's you enter all your details at 9.10. Crashes you out at the final hurdle then sells out. Like look at what you could have won. Why isn't there just a queue system?! #Glastonbury2019

A joke system – so antiquated. Other very large events across the world manage a decent queueing system. #Glastonbury2019 1/10

Although, not everyone missed out and there were the inevitable gloaters who rubbed their success into everyones faces.

All these negative moany old comments and yet I was in within four minutes and secured tickets! #Glastonbury2019.
Plus if people concentrated on getting the tickets instead of diving on social media to whinge then they may actually be able to buy them!!

Now to wait for the resale in spring.
