Nicki Minaj has delivered some disappointing news for fans in North America.

The Ganja Burns rapper has delayed the entire US leg of her upcoming tour with Future, and will instead begin the shows in Europe.

In a message to her fans, Nicki said in a Twitter video: Future and I will now start the European leg of our tour first, those dates will stay exactly the same.

The US leg of the tour will now start in May [2019]. Because of that with Futures schedule, I may have to take another headliner or I may just do it like I did the Pinkprint tour and it wouldnt be a co-headline. I might just have three or four opening acts. I still am going to do Australia in January.

Nicki, 35, blames the delay on the fact she had push her new album, Queen, back by two months and had only finished writing and recording literally hours before the album came out.

The rapper continued: So now, I just simply dont have the time to rehearse and be on the road in time to give you guys the level of a show I need to give. [Creative director] Jamie King and I are working tirelessly to give you the best show of my life. I apologise but itll be worth it.

Offering further explanation to a fan, Nicki also put the postponement down to a string of work commitments, including TV promotion, video shoots and a performance at Jay-Zs Made In America festival.

Fans in the US with platinum and gold VIP tickets will have the opportunity to meet Nicki backstage on the tour.

However, a source told Page Six that Nickis tour is in trouble due to poor ticket sales. The insider claimed: Nickis tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist.

The delay comes after a week of controversy for Nicki, who got into several scathing Twitter beefs with radio DJs and her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels. The Super Bass rapper then slammed Travis Scott, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and their six-month-old daughter Stormi.

According to Nicki, Travis, 24, only landed Billboards number one album last week because Kylie promoted his upcoming tour by mentioning she would be attending with Stormi.

During her latest Queen radio episode on Tuesday, Nicki continued her tirade against Travis, saying: Travis Scott is out here selling fucking clothes, and he got yall thinking hes selling fucking music – sit your stupid ass down!

How are you selling something that does not have anything to do with your album but it is being counted on Billboard as album sales? What were not gonna do is have this fucking autotune man come up in here selling fucking sweaters and telling yall he sold half a million fucking albums, cause he didnt!
