Somehow, 2019 is more than halfway over, and you know what that means: list-making time! The mid-year best-of list may be a relatively new tradition, but in the era of streaming television and short theatrical windows, its a useful one—many of the best movies of the year so far, and virtually all of the best TV shows, are available to watch right now, meaning that if you dont want to spend the long days of summer basking in the sunshine, there are many great excuses to stay inside.
On this weeks Little Gold Men podcast, Richard Lawson, Katey Rich, and Joanna Robinson discuss the best movies and TV shows of the year so far. Richard helpfully collaborated on two list about just that, writing about TV shows with Sonia Saraiya and films with __ K. Austin Collins__.
