Ardent fans pleading for the long-brewing romance between The 100 characters Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake finally got their wish Friday night—albeit not as anyone (read: anyone) expected. Actors Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley tweeted the announcement of their recent marriage, having kept word of their relationship from six years of co-starring in the CW drama largely under wraps.

“Recently I married my best friend and soul mate @WildpipM,” the 29-year-old Taylor wrote. Perhaps sensing significant reactions from the shows passionate fanbase, she added “We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time”

Morley, 34, offered similar sentiments, adding “It is with such a full heart that I call @MisElizaJane my wife. This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy. Please remember to be respectful and kind to one another.
