Betsys Wedding (1990)

When Betsy (Molly Ringwald) and Jake (Dylan Walsh) get engaged, Betsys contractor father, Eddie (Alan Alda), is determined to put on an elaborate wedding in order to impress Jakes family of wealthy WASPs. He raises the money to pay for it by making risky deals with questionable businesspersons—and tries to ignore the stress hes putting on both his wife and the bride.
