Tom Cruise broke his ankle last time he filmed stunts in London, causing Mission: Impossible 6 filming to be halted for seven weeks.

But it doesn’t look like the incident has made Tom wary of doing his own stunts.

The 55-year-old was seen throwing himself into filming atop Blackfriars Station in London, with Cruise legging it across the roof.

Last August, Tom broke his ankle while performing the building stunt on the nearby roof of office block Baynard House.

However, it seems like production staff are desperately trying to avoid another setback by moving the stunt to a different building.

Tom was seen sprinting across the roof overlooking the Thames to a getaway helicopter that circled nearby.

The action star was bundled in a puffa jacket and a scarf while the cameras were off – well, it is January – but when in Ethan Hunt mode, Tom was wearing a t-shirt and a thin jacket.

Despite his injury, Mission: Impossible 6 is still on track to meet its scheduled release date of 27 July 2018.

And judging by the words of Skydance Media CEO David Ellison, action fans can expect some of Cruise’s most daring stunts ever in the sequel.

Ellison said: ‘What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that’s come before. It is absolutely unbelievable—he’s been training for a year.

‘It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after

Rogue Nation came out [in 2015]. It’s gonna be mind-blowing.’

No pressure, Tom.
